No Liability for AI-Generated Content

LabWhisperer uses two technologies: (1) Computer vision (computer vision) for deterministic measurements such as band detection, optical density, spot counting, Manders coefficients, and Pearson correlation. These are mathematical calculations that produce the same result every time for the same input. (2) Artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) for interpretation tasks such as molecular weight estimation, handwriting extraction, reagent identification, and natural language responses. AI outputs may contain errors. The operator assumes no liability for any damages arising from the use of either technology.

Not a Substitute for Professional Judgment

LabWhisperer is a research assistance tool and does not replace professional scientific judgment, institutional safety protocols, manufacturer safety data sheets (SDS), regulatory compliance documentation, or peer-reviewed scientific methodology.

Safety Information Disclaimer

Chemical safety information provided by LabWhisperer is for informational purposes only. Users must always consult the original manufacturer SDS and follow institutional safety protocols. The operator is not liable for any injuries, damages, or regulatory violations resulting from reliance on LabWhisperer safety information.

Data Accuracy

Measurements, readings, and calculations extracted from images are approximate and must be independently verified. LabWhisperer should not be used as the sole source of data for publications, regulatory submissions, or safety-critical decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from the use of this service.

Specific Disclaimers

Reagent Identification: AI may misread labels, catalog numbers, or hazard symbols. Always verify chemical identity and safety information against the physical label and manufacturer SDS before handling any substance.

Gel and Band Analysis: Lane detection, band counting, intensity values, and optical density are measured by computer vision (deterministic) and are deterministic. Molecular weight estimates are AI-interpreted from band positions and should be validated. The researcher must decide which bands to quantify based on saturation analysis and experimental context.

Colocalization Analysis: Spot counts, Manders M1/M2, Pearson correlation, and overlap coefficients are calculated by computer vision (deterministic algorithms). These are deterministic mathematical results. JPEG compression may affect accuracy. Use raw microscopy formats (.tif, .czi, .nd2) for publication-grade results.

Dilution Calculations: All calculations must be double-checked before preparing solutions. The operator is not responsible for errors in AI-generated formulas or quantities.

User Responsibility

By using LabWhisperer, you acknowledge that all AI-generated content is advisory and non-binding. You are solely responsible for verifying all information before acting on it. Use of this service constitutes acceptance of these terms.
